Oily Foods

Oily foods play a big role in making acne problem go worse. Besides oily foods, what other things play a vital role in causing acne problem and should we simply not eat such things or eat them in limit?

Every doctor that I have talked to has told me that diet is not the cause of acne, so I don't think that this is necessarily true. There are more important things you should try out besides changing your diet.

I have heard food is not the reason either but there is a problem with eating greasy food. First you run the risk of getting some on your face no matter how hard you try. Even the steam coming off of a greasy disgusting hamburger can get into your pores and clog them.

Also, even though food is not the culprit of acne, people that eat certain foods will tend to break out, and that is usually because something in their system may be allergic to that particular food.

When I was a young person and ate a diet heavy in fats, I never had a problem with acne. When I was older and was eating healthy foods, that is when my acne developed. I do not believe greasy foods will cause acne, but they will certainly affect your overall health.

No, no foods are known to cause acne, but some people may break out with certain foods because their body doesn't react well with the food they eat. Shrimp is known to break people's faces out that are allergic to it, but that doesn't mean shrimp causes acne.
