Expiration Dates

Do you pay any attention to these dates? I can see where it may have a bearing on prescription products, but I use plenty of over-the-counter skin care products that are past their "freshness" date.

Medicine rarely goes bad unless it's left for a really long time, but it does lose it's potency and texture quite fast once it begins to dry out. I keep an eye on them sometimes, but I have antiacids in there that have been out of date since 2003.

It normally takes several years for medication to expire. So unless you are shopping at Kmart then you should have no worries. No shop will sell outdated acne medicine.

I believe most stores sell all their medication before their expiry dates. Just to be safe though it is always a good idea to check the expiry date before purchasing a medical product.

I do not check them lol, I mean, if I see it and it is expired, I use it anyway, unless it has been expired for a long time or if it looks bad, but other than that, I use it normally

I never check expiration either. Most medication will not really be expired. That is just a suggested sales date. Usually products will last for months after the date listed with no problems.

I do not even look for the dates when I buy a product, usually I have used it all up before it expires. And after all, must of that stuff lasts a long time before they expire.
