I've used Clearasil and I have to say it works very well. It kind of drys your face rapidly and it made acne go away in several days. I stopped using it because my face was super dry all the time and my face felt tight all the time. It was like botox or something. Very awkward at the least.

I have not used Clearasil for many years, but when I did I used the cream (in a tube) that had benzoyl peroxide in it. It was drying to my skin and did not improve my acne, so based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend it.

I used the tube medication as well, jnjsarauer, and had similar results. It really did not help out with my acne, just made my face feel smooth.

I have known several people who have used this product and both have mixed reviews about it, it is average overall.

I think that I have had experiences with it where my face began to feel tight as well. It kind of made my chin feel like it could not possibly stretch anymore.

I used clearasil ultra the tinted one, I liked it because it worked well but it also covered up the acne as well without having to use make up.

I used a Clearasil a lot when I was a teen, but the problem was that even though it worked, it would dry skin out if used on a daily basis. When I started using it once every other two or three days, it worked fine. Now they have moisturizing Clearasil. I haven't tried it but I am glad they made it. Many of my friends also complained that it dried their skin out. Other than that though, it did clear up acne.

As a teen, I used to use a wide array of Clearasil products, ranging from the face wash to the flesh-colored cream, which I hated because some of the zits actually HURT like heck when touched. The pads were fine, and they worked well, but it was sometimes gross as all get-out seeing all the dirt and oil that came off my face and neck when I used them.

The pads can be a little gross, especially if you look at them after and see everything tha tused ot be on your face. I really like them though, they make my face feel extra-clean.

Ugh, that's what I always hated about Clearasil. My face would always tighten up and I felt the need to put a pound of lotion on it.
