Cancer is caused my cells regenerating at an abnormal speed, if I recall. I doubt a scar could turn cancerous, if that was the case, everyone would die from a stubbed toe.
Some chemicals can trigger cancer, but I don't know which ones do and which ones don't. |

I don't think that a scar would increase your risk of skin cancer as cancer is caused by a gene mutation that causes a cell to divide rapidly without stopping. I thinkt hat peoplle with acne are just at risk as people without acne.
