Honey

My grandma gave my mother an article once saying that honey can make acne go away and that it would help get rid of any possible scarring. However I never have seen it in action. It does not seem possible to me...

Honey does have dramatic healing powers, so it may be beneficial, but I doubt it would address any deep scarring. When there are pits in the skin, I don't know of anything other than costmetic procedures that can fix them.

I have heard about people using honey to cure their acne too, and the results were good, so I'd try it, I do not believe it can cause any scars

Killian is right. It won't cause any scars so it can't hurt to try. It also doesn't smell or taste too bad either. If anyone does us I would love to know the results.

My grandmother actually gave me an article on this from a magazine. It actually seems to work so it may be worth a shot. There is no risk of harm if the honey does not work so what do you have to lose?

Is there any specific honey I should buy then? Does it matter? And what brand should I get? Maybe I will just go with a generic brand.

Any brand should do. Most brands are all the same. Check the ingrediants and you will see that they are all the same. I don't think it will matter.
