I know there is always question over whether you should pop your pimples or not. We were discussing it in the other post. I read that if you do so, you should use guaze or cotton balls to squeeze with rather than just your bare hands.

Yes that could help from spreading germs but I think you still have the risk of leaving scars.

You are best to just leave the blemishes alone. If they come to a head, typically they will burst when you wash your face. Otherwise, you can create more problems than you started out with.

My grandmother always used to say never to pop them and i used to do them all the time. Thats why they increased so much that i couldnt bear the pain. I suggest the same that never to pop your pimples at all.

Even when you pop the littlest of pimples you can still leave a scar. I know it is horrible to have a big pimple sticking out but in the long run I think it is best to just let it go away with medication.

Even if you use cottons or some kind of gel to pop them, some people use even ice, it can leave serious scars, and they are very hard to get away from, so don't do it lol

Could you get an infection? This is something my mom always told me. I always just use my fingers to pop.

How do the dermatologists do it, I wonder? I have seen it done on a couple of shows like "10 years younger".

I saw that too but I forget what show it was. The dermatologist uses some little silver looking tool to do it?

I normally just pop them by squeezing the pimple between my fingernails. I have never gotten an infection or anything. Nor any scars. Kind of lucky I suppose.

I think in general they say not to pop with your bare skin so that you are not spreading bacteria on your face which can lead to more pimples
