I had acne long time ago and it pained a lot is it natural to have the pain or does it pain only when it gets very severe? i wanted to ask this because i am having this pain even now when i touch it.

When my acne was severe, I did have pain if I touched it. There was a great deal of inflammation involved with my acne. Prescription medications didn't clear my acne, but they did help it ease this inflammation and the pain.

In some cases, when the person has a lot, those medical cases, I a pretty sure it hurts a lot, I mean, your skind is almost taken away, must hurt a lot!

I think if it is bad enough it can be pretty painful. It seems to me that I read somewhere that if it is very painful then you should follow up with a doctor.

Once in awhile I will have a pimple that is really sore or something but never very severe pain overall.

Some of mine can get really painful. They just get so big and red that just touching them hurt. Thankfully that does not happen very often though. I think that is just because they are filled with infection.
