In areas where pollution is a problem, there is a chance it could contribute to clogged pores. I would think if a person washes their face every morning and evening, this would be enough to prevent pollution-related problems.

Most spots and acne are caused by pores getting clogged with dirt and bacteria breeding. If pollution is quite nasty, then yeah, it can cause a handful of issues, but I'm sure that at level, spots will be the least of your problems.

I'm going to agree with you on this. Pollution is bad for anyone period. It probably has some affect on getting acne or pimples because of all the chemicals and dirt in the air. It probably also depends on how much pollution is in the air. More pollution equals worse acne.
