Just watch your diet. That is probably one of the most important things you can do. If you start breaking out a lot then you may be consuming too much greasy food.

I had it beginning in the eighth grade and it kept going on into sophmore year of college. It takes years for it to finally stop coming so much, but even then there are still some outbreaks.

I've had it for 6 years

Sister.... I've had acne for 6 years, since I was 18, but I have hormonal problem that were brought on by some oh so stressfull events back in my teens, I've never fully recoved, sucks big time. But I keep mya cne under control using products FaceDoctorRx, all I know is it works, and I've tried everything.

But usually I think for teenagers it just lasts a couple years when your going through puberty, and at least for me it wasn't that bad. But I do remember the unlucky ones who got it terribly bad all over and have scars now. It sucks, but if you have bad acne see a dermatologist asap, so they don't turn into scars for life.
