How bad?

Is there a level that you let your face get before doing anything about it? If so how much or how bad? And what is the worse your face has ever looked?

One blemish and I'm back to the Proactiv. My skin (especially in chin area) used to be a mass of painful, red blemishes. Never again! It probably wouldn't get that bad anymore, but I'm taking no chances.

My face has never been very bad. I have seen some people that are just covered. If I get 5 zits at once then that is bad for me. Thankfully I do not get serious skin problems.

I have never been too bad, but sometimes I get them in annoying locations. Near the lips, and nose corners are the worse places to get them. They are so annoying!

When you should see a dermatologist

Ok if you have the occassional zit or two once or twice a month don't panic, but if you get pimples, especially the big ones that hurt under your skin you better see a dermatologist. Those ones are the ones that are more prone to scarring.

I have zits once in a while, but luckily mine don't scar, I've heard the ones that hurt scar more easily.
