Hey, im 25 male. ill start off by telling you how i got myself into this situation. About 2 months ago i decided to try st ives apracot scrub because i had like a blackhead or 2. well anyway i had a bad reaction to it and it has left my entire forhead, sideburns and upper cheeks filled with bumps that turn into blackheads. i been majorly depresed about it and 2 times i spent hours in the mirror plucking them out only to have a red irrated face that scabbed up and came back worse. i added 2 minor not noticable crators too, kinda like enlarged poor holes, anyway. about 3 weeks ago I had this red bump about the size of a pencil eraser show up above my eyebrow. after 1 week it formed a white head in witch i squeezed off but there was still a bump under there that was deeper. i stuck a pin in it and squeezed till it bled but nothing came out so i left it alone. It appears to have healed completly. Just a pink mark and the skin looks to have healed nicely. No crator. anyway its been 2 weeks and today i noticed when i streach the skin or feel with my finger tips i can see and feel a hard lump were it was. is this lump permenent or is it goign to take alot longer to go away??? how long can i expect for this leftover under skin lump to go away?

Unfortunately the wrong move that you made was to squeeze it. There is only one type of spot that you should sqeeze and that is the type with the yellow head that will burst cleanly. Remeber that if you leave pimples alone they will come right on there own which will take 1 to 4 weeks

I know how difficult it gets to resist squeeing pimples. I guess you have some stubborn acne on your face. Try using acne spot treatments that contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide.
