What to Do and Not to Do With Acne

What to Do and Not to Do With Acne

What is the right way and the wrong way to deal with acne? Do you know that everything counts when you are trying to control acne? Why do zits bother so many, they are not that big to begin with? There are many things that can help us to look better. So stay away from the myths, they tend to do more harm to your skin then good.

You should consider the following if you want to avoid acne:

- Clean your face twice a day, using a cleanser that is designed for your skin type.

- Make sure to clean your face after exercising, removing all sweat and dirt.

- Use a moisturizer for your skin type. This can be used even if you have oily skin. Your skin needs protection. Over drying your skin will not do any good, in fact you will have the exact opposite reaction, your oil glands will start over producing to make up for the dry skin.

- Make sure you choose cosmetics that are made for your skin type.

- Use products with fruit acids. Fruit acids help the skin to remove old skin cells and prevent your pores from clogging.

- Protect your skin from wind and harsh conditions. These can leave the skin exposed to infections.

- Drink plenty of water. This helps to flush your body of toxins, which are the leading cause of acne.

- Maintain a healthy diet and take vitamins regularly. People who tend to suffer from acne usually do not get enough vitamin A. Zinc supplements have also been known to fight acne. Diet changes will not spare you of all acne; they will however help your skin to look and feel better.

- See a doctor if your acne persist or is severe, this may be a sign of more serious internal issues.

It is important to remember to stay away from drying cleansers and harsh scrubs. These products destroy the protective barrier on your skin and alter the pH balance. This leads to infections and outbreaks.

What every you do, do not pop your zits. This will lead to scarring. If your acne is bothering you that much you can use a sterilized needle to drain them.

Do not over tan. Although a tan can cover up the acne, it is only a temporary effect. Too much exposure to the sun can aggravate acne. Also, many over the counter acne prescriptions make your skin sensitive to the sun causing more damage.

I agree with most of that actually so well done

Another very important tip is diet.

With diet, many acne sufferers do not realize that dairy products actually contain specific hormones in them produced by the cow that can actually trigger the release of extra sebum in your body.

Sebum is the main substance used in acne formation so limiting dairy products is your best bet, how ever yogurt does work as a face mask treatment because it contains pro-biotics which is regulated to your skins natural acidity.

I DID wash my fast with neutrogena

I DID tan

BUT

I didn't ever use concealer or powder

I didn't pop my pimples, zits, white heads, blk heads on my back or chest and those areas i have THE WORST SCARS!

Thumbs up

If you suffer from acne, it can be controlled and sooner or later cured without spending tons of money on drugs, visits to dermatologists or as I have heard, even plastic surgery.I have been there and know how acne can destroy a person’s entire self-image and the hopeless measures one might be bearing in mind to get rid of acne.

Any acne victim must understand is that any disease-regardless of its medical judgment is a product of constipation, a clogging up of the body tissues. As a result, as the body struggles to unclog its organs, the route becomes marked in several manners.

Disease is an effort of the body to rid itself of these toxins. The skin is the next most important abolishing organ, acne is just a sign that you need to cleanse yourself within and take simple measures to lessen the outer symptoms as the cleanse proceeds.

Dont skip using the moisturizer even if your skin is oily. Oily skin does require moisture no matter how oily it is. In the absence of moisture the skin cell produce more oil and thus increase the oiliness. So, consider using a lighth weight oil-free moisturizer.
