Rose water

I have heard that by using rose water of course original helps in speeding up the curing process in case of skin problems. Janice, what do you think about it?

Hi Handy!

Well, i have read about rose water and i agree with you. Rose water is used in cosmetics for its lovely scent, but also because it has light astringent properties. As the gentlest of all astringents, rose water is often used as toner for fair and dry skin. i think it is really good for our skin.

Rose water is a very arab thing as I see lots of arab people using it for there face and arabs are good looking under all that they wear so we can say that rose water is good for the skin

I am not sure that it is just an arab thing. I have heard about people using rose water for many years because it does speed up the healing process and tones the skin as well.

I have not heard of this, but I wish I had known about it when my acne was bad. The smell of rose water would certainly have been preferable to all those stinky creams and lotions I used.

I havn't really tried that one, but I'll have to give it a bash sometime, I've got a lot of roses growing in my yard just now, I'll grab some petals before the cold finishes them off.

Rose water is often associated with having healing powers. I have not however actually heard that rose water will actually help with skin problems.

I tried it last night, it worked a little bit but not all that great. But I smell pretty.

So yeah, I'm not going out while I smell like I'm wearing perfume, but it helped a little.

I know it, isn't it something people use to clean the skin?
If yes, I used that and the results were good, my skin was very clean and it helped on the acne!

Rose water mixed with lime juice in a 50/50 ratio is also a good solution to remove acne scars.
