My sister always had clear skin as a teenager. As soon as she hit her 20s, though, she developed acne.

I do notthink that is true one bit at all. Most adults with acne that I know had acne since the early teenage years. They normally were covered with it and things just got worse over the years until they are covered all over.

I didn't have much of a problem with acne when I was a teen. It wasn't until I started college that the trouble started so yes I would say it can happen that way.
