Age

Is there a certain age when acne normally ends for an adult who is having problems with acne?

That's a good question. I would think the older you get the less oil your face produces but I could be wrong. I haven't too many people in their 50's with acne though.

I have seen people with acne in their 20's and 30's but generally I have not seen anyone with acne at an age too much over that.

I think that acne can occur at any age, however, it's very uncommon to see those over 30 who have acne problems. It definitely does happen though. I think that with the older people, it is mainly just occasional breakouts or pimples.

I know some women have trouble with it when they're going through menopause, and the average age for that is 51. I can't say I've ever seen an elderly person with acne.

An age around 23 is the one which doctors usually say it ends however there is no exact age for acne. It can happen to anyone at any stage of time.

Hmm, I have never heard that before. That is interesting. I wish it was set in stone. I know several several people in their 30's that have acne still. It would be great if everyone knew that miracle age when acne disappears but I don't see how it can be determined.

Where did you hear that acne usually ends when you turn 23? I have never heard that, and I have talked to many doctors about the issue. I do not think that is necessarily true.
