I agree
When I was in my 30's, I worked as an over-the-road truck driver. I got little exercise, and my eating habits were atrocious. After a few months of poor health habits, my energy sagged, I developed adult acne, and felt like a slug. When I started taking care of myself again, my health problems cleared up.

I totally agree that adults do not really care about their health as they hit their 30's or 40's. I think it is normal because the pressure to make money and the pressure to be successful is so important.
I think the only way to fix this would be to plan time more accordingly. If you make time for yourself, nothing can really hurt you. |

That's really no true at all, especially what you said about not caring about families. The reason many are trying to make money is to support their family, and if anything, the love and caring of one's family is the reason why they do so much to begin with.

Hmm, I actually disagree. Seems to me that adulthood is when more people start to take charge of their health. As kids most are happy go lucky and would live off candy meals and candy if they could. As we get older we start to realize more the importance of health because do not "feel" as young anymore, or we see what bad foods do to our body once we are bit older.

I think it is completely untrue that adults don't care about their health. Yes I think there are times when work and family responsabilities make it hard for someone to be as good about their health but it isn't that they don't care.

Don't get me wrong though, because I have seen SEVERAL adults that do not take care of themselves at all, but there are also several teens/kids that do not as well. |
