Unnatural Age

Which age according to you is the most unnatural age for acne to start.
For youngsters it usually starts at the age of 10 onwards but for adults which do you think. I personally think people who are within the age of 25-30 should never have acne. Its usually the time of their marriage proposals !!!

I don't think that any age is unnatural for somebody to be afflicted with acne. Anybody, age newborn to ninety can have acne. It's not necessarily age that is the major factor.

I agree. Acne can start at any age and at any time. I know it is not very typical to see adults in the 40-50 year range to have acne, but it does happen. There are so many factors that contribute to acne that make it hard to pinpoint exactly when a person will get a "flare up".

Agreed, there are so many factors that cause acne or can result in acne that age is not going to be the main factor. It's hard to say what the main cause is for a breakout.

Mine started in my 30s, and it felt like a very unnatural time to be getting it for me I had pretty good skin as a teen, and I thought it was unfair that I had to deal with this as an adult.

I have never seen it on elder people, I mean, older than 60 or something, I believe it does not happen, right? Has anyone seen someone at that age with acne? lol

I think it would be odd to see anyone over late thrities with an acne problem. However, I do know that it can strike at any age.

You don't see as many people in their 60's with acne, but yes, it definitely does happen. They are also prone to rosacea as well. I have heard for senior citizens that the best treatment is usually herbs and home remedies.

I seldom know of anyone over say 35 or so that has acne. You might see someonhttp://www.acneforum.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=1525e with a pimple know and then but rarely full blown acne.
