I've seen Anime and it isn't that great. I don't know why people like watching it in other languages either. I think it was called Naruto or something. Pokemon was another one I didn't really enjoy during the 1998-2002 years.

I personally think from my observations, Anime is giving teens and adults an escape from reality and it is making them less mature. From what I have seen, teens who watch anime don't realize that reality is there. They just focus on what life would be in that fantasy.

I stopped watching Anime when I was 10. Watching real life acting seems more adaptable for me.

That is true but it also opens the mind to a new way of seeing the world for what it is and depending what you plan on doing with your life it can help a little.

well, it is just like saying that cartoons is bad as well. Cartoons are also unrealistic, you know. It is far worst than anime films because the characters are flying, they don't die when they are hit by the train, etc., but why do kids and some adults love such?

Anime doesn't do anything for me, but my adult daughter is crazy over it. She has so many dvds that she is going to need a bigger house. Plus she has gotten into the books with the strange sounding name . . . manga?

Yup, Japanese for Random Pictures.

I'm into the more mature titles like Hellsing and Elfen Lied, also the more psychological ones like Ghost in the Shell and Paranoia Agent.
