2008 Presidental Elections

Who will you be voting for during the 2008 Elections?
Will you be going for Republicans or Democrats?

I must say, I am a Republican but I think I will go Democrat. Hilary Clinton seems like a great choice for all of her great ideas for social issues.

If Romney wins the Republican nomination, I will go Republican. Guiliani and McCain look like the next Bush's. (War monkey's)

Fred Thompson looks to be the next Ronald Regan. Obama doesn't seem to have the experience I say. Edwards is plagued with family problems.

I used to like Bush. I gave him a chance. I tried; I really wanted to support him but, he's out of control. I sometimes wish the United States would become Switzerland and be propserous without showing off our endless collections of atomic bombs.

As of right now, the candidate I am most impressed with is Barack Obama. Because of his background, I feel he has the best understanding of other cultures and how to interact with them. Regardless of whether or not he wins the primary, I'll be voting for a Democrat in 2008. I have two kids in the military and I'm tired of them being in Iraq.

I agree that with Barack's background he can relate to more people than other candidates can. However I am voting for Hilary Clinton I would like to see a Hilary Clinton with Barack Obama as Vice President. But I am voting Democrat, if Barack wins the Primary then I will be voting for him as he is my close second

This is the first election that I will be able to vote in, so I am very excited. I will be voting Democrat. Is this anybody else's first presidential election?

Hillary has terrible social ideas. She is out to make us socialistic. Her health care idea is ridiculous. She will make us out like Britain where they have the NHS. Which I would like to point out is a socialist program that nobody in England likes. Hillary is also changing her positions whenever she can to win different people over. We do not need her in office.

Romney is who I would like to get the nomination. I would vote for him. I do not like McCain. Rudy is alright besides his tolerance of abortion.

Fred Thompson...I do not see what you mean by being like Reagan. You say that as if it is a bad thing. Reagan was a great leader. Edwards...no comment. Just bad

Big John Edwards fan right here. I have liked him since the last election. He is all about issues that I am about.

I ****used**** to like Bush as well, but no more, and not since around 2004. I think he was a mistake. The fact that he does not listen to the American people is a huge, huge mistake in my book..but, what are you going to do.

This is really one discussion I wanted to stay away from as they usually get way out of hand. But then I saw a lot of people supporting Hillary and I was going to ask WHAT you see in this person and why you want her to be our next president. This above poster took the words right out of my mouth about both Clinton, and of course, Reagan .

My personal vote? Guilaini

Please don't get mad at me but I don't know if the world is ready for a woman president yet to be honest. It is such a male dominated political world out there. I know the times are changing and everything, but do you think that 100% a woman would be taken seriously in office by other world powers and her own citizens?
