Christmas Preparations

Are you enjoying the holiday season or are you bogged down with preparations? We're keeping it a lot simpler this year, so we're enjoying the season more and stressing less. Due to my husband's diabetes, I'm not baking much, the decorating is done, and I'm primarily doing handmade gifts and gift cards this year.

I am already done with my holiday shopping, so at least that stress is off my chest. I am not decorating this year, so that stress is gone too. My only stress left is a trip I am making for the holidays that will last a week, and I'm still trying to get that planned. That's basically it for me.

We still didn't get our Christmas Tree or do any holiday shopping! I looked at the date and I can't believe how fast time goes already. Seems like Thanksgiving was just last week! Christmas is the one holiday that just sneaks up on me.

This is the first year that I actually have everything done. All of my shopping was done in November! Usually I'm the last minute girl.

I also have everything done. The Christmas tree is up, presents wrapped, and all those other stressful things out of the way. I can now enjoy Christmas like you are supposed to.
