Have I ever told you about the wild haggii?

Being a Scotsman, I know a little something about a possum-like creature called a haggis, named after the Scottish dish, or is it the other way round? I forget.

Anyway, a haggis is a small creature that lives in the Highlands, about a foot long, and resembles a colorful possum. It's unique in the aspect that the legs on one side are shorter than the legs on the other, making it a really fast runner on hillsides.

It's perfectly possible to catch them by running in the opposite direction, and they are very poor runners in the other direction. It's often said that some can run clockwise around hills, and others run counterclockwise, but this is nothing but an urban myth. They only go clockwise.

Even though called a haggis, the flesh itself is very dull and tough, and not as tasty as real haggis. They are mostly hunted for sport.

If your ever visiting Scotland, look into hunting them, it's perfectly legal and they are quite the pest in the highlands, they've been known to attack sheep.
