treatment for Mild non-inflammatory acne
Mild erruptions can be treated with topical gels, creams or lotions that are applied directly to the skin.
These include: Retinoids, which contain vitamin A apparently good for loosening skin cells that are sealing the hair follicles. Another topical cream is Adapalene, which affects the growth of skin cells; or Benzoyl peroxide which has anti bacterial properties. My son is now trying Benzoyl peroxide on his blackhead areas |

That often works very well in conjunction with regular washing. Also if you have a break out area that sweats a lot you need to make sure that you are not spreading it. Patting the area with a dry towel works wonders.

I'm a believer in trying the mildest form of treatment first, so if the problem appears mild, try something that is inexpensive and readily available. If that doesn't work, then go to the next level. I think sometimes we end up paying more money than needed or use harsh products when a milder one may do the job just as well.
