Retin-a
This product is also known as Tretinoin which can be used in the treatment of acne. It is applied on the affected area once daily before bedtime. However, you should avoid excessive exposure to sunlight when using this.

I have heard of the benefits that this has on the body but have not heard how it directly relates to acne and the benefits. I know it is good for helping skin heal so I imagine it would be beneficial. But I would have to have more information first before making a decision to use it.

I have a friend who has had excellent results with Retin-A. Do take the precaution of avoiding exposure to bright sunlight seriously, however. She forgot this and ended getting a bad sunburn one afternoon, and she wasn't even outside all that long.

It is good for wrinkles too.
From someone who learned the hard way.....STAY OUT OF SUN when wearing this, please! I got a terrible sunburn that hurt for days and my skin peeled really bad. It hurt to wash my face, it hurt to put lotion on, everything hurt. |
