Wrong Guidance
When most of the teenagers face acne problem, they seek for treatments which can vanish their pimples as soon as possible and for this reason, they at times even follow the wrong treatments. How to tell them to differentiate between what is right and what is not?

I think that the best thing to keep in mind is that different treatments will work for one person and not for another. There really isn't a "wrong" treatment, but my best advice would be to just let them try out different treatments on their own and figure it out for themselves.

If the acne is not severe, I'm okay with using the process of elimination when it comes to over-the-counter products. If the acne is severe and has the potential of scarring, I would get the child to a dermatologist as soon as possible.

One thing I learned from my acne is that if it goes away fast, it comes back just as fast. One thing that calmed mine down was vigourously scrubbing my face and using skin moisturizer to get rid of dead skin.
Its best to get an established medicine for acne that actually targets the cause, sweeping the floor wont stop it getting muddy shoeprints. |
