Sadly, I didn't date much as a teenager. My only "young person" relationship ended the day after my 14th birthday, and I didn't seriously get involved with anyone of the opposite sex till my mid-30s.

However, I did have crushes on many attractive girls, and sometimes I did find myself going on quasi-dates, most of them school-related social mixers (like the ninth grade dance).

I don't know if this was pure coincidence or what, but every darn time that I went to where pretty girls were bound to be, I'd get a zit....a nasty, painful one at that....on my nose or forehead.

Did this happen to any others here? Thoughts? Ideas?

I didn't have quite that much bad luck. I dated throughout a good part of my young teenage and adult life. Acne was never a huge problem for me.

I will laugh with you alexfardreamer@aol.com as the same thing is seeming to happen to me. The day before school photos I got a nice zit right between my forehead. I also seem to get pimples sometimes before going to dances and similar events. I am just unlucky I guess.
